These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Corporis mobile application, website, anatomical models, educational materials, quizzes, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”
The Service is operated by Alexandra Voinea, located at Bucharest, Romania. (“Corporis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Corporis, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.
1. Educational purpose and medical disclaimer
Corporis is an educational anatomy application intended to help users study and explore human anatomy.
Corporis is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The information, anatomical models, illustrations, descriptions, quizzes, and other content provided through the Service are for general educational purposes only.
The Service does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or training. Always consult a physician or another qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical question or concern.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information presented in Corporis. If you believe that you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Anatomical models and visualizations may contain educational simplifications and may not represent every anatomical variation, pathology, or clinical situation.
2. Eligibility
You may use Corporis only if you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your country, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If you use Corporis on behalf of a school, university, company, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. License to use Corporis
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use Corporis for personal or internal educational purposes.
This license does not transfer ownership of the application or its content to you.
Unless expressly permitted by law or authorized by us in writing, you may not:
- copy, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially redistribute the Service;
- reproduce or redistribute anatomical models, images, text, audio, quizzes, or other content as a separate product;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code;
- remove or obscure trademarks, copyright notices, branding, watermarks, or attribution;
- use the Service or its content to create a competing product or dataset;
- bypass payment, subscription, access-control, or security systems;
- use automated systems to scrape or extract content;
- use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
Screenshots may be shared for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes if the Corporis branding remains visible and the images are not presented as medical advice.
4. Free and paid features
Corporis may provide free features, paid features, one-time purchases, subscriptions, promotional access, or trial periods.
The features included in each offer will be displayed before purchase. We may add, modify, or discontinue features, provided that we comply with applicable law and the rules of the platform through which the purchase was made.
Certain functionality may require a compatible device, internet connection, camera access, augmented-reality support, or an updated operating system.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play are processed by the applicable platform and are also governed by that platform’s terms.
Before confirming a subscription, you will be shown its price, billing period, included benefits, and any applicable trial or introductory offer.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. The applicable platform will charge the payment method connected to your store account.
Prices may vary by country, currency, platform, taxes, and promotional offer.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the store account used to make the purchase:
- Apple App Store: your Apple ID subscription settings;
- Google Play: the Subscriptions section of your Google Play account.
Deleting Corporis from your device does not cancel an active subscription.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will generally retain access to the subscribed features until that period ends, unless the platform or applicable law provides otherwise.
6. Free trials and promotional offers
If a free trial or introductory offer is available, its duration and conditions will be displayed before you subscribe.
Unless you cancel before the end of the trial or promotional period, the subscription may automatically convert into a paid subscription at the price displayed during enrollment.
Eligibility for trials and promotional offers may be determined by Apple, Google, or Corporis. An offer may be limited to new subscribers or used only once per account.
7. Refunds
Payments, cancellations, and refund requests are generally handled by the platform through which the purchase was made.
Refund eligibility is subject to Apple’s or Google’s applicable policies and any mandatory rights available under local consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Intellectual property
Corporis and its original software, visual design, branding, text, anatomical presentations, quizzes, graphics, and other original content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Some components may be licensed from third parties and remain the property of their respective owners.
“Corporis,” associated logos, and related branding may not be used without prior written permission.
Feedback or suggestions may be used to improve the Service without creating an obligation to compensate you, provided that we do not identify you publicly without permission.
9. Accuracy and availability
We aim to provide useful and accurate educational information, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, error-free, current, or suitable for a particular academic, clinical, or professional purpose.
Human anatomy includes natural variation, and educational representations may be simplified for clarity or performance.
We may correct errors, update content, change functionality, or temporarily suspend parts of the Service.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Service interruptions may result from maintenance, device limitations, platform changes, technical problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. User conduct
You agree not to:
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
- introduce malware or harmful code;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or content;
- misuse the Service to violate another person’s rights;
- misrepresent Corporis content as professional medical advice;
- use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
11. Third-party services and links
Corporis may use or link to third-party services, including Apple, Google, analytics providers, payment services, websites, and external educational resources.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.
A link does not necessarily imply endorsement.
12. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to you.
13. Updates
We may release updates to improve security, compatibility, performance, content, or functionality.
Some updates may be necessary for continued use of the Service. Features may operate differently depending on the application version, device, and operating system.
14. Termination
You may stop using Corporis at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Service, threaten its security, or fail to make a required payment.
Termination does not automatically cancel a subscription managed through Apple or Google. You must cancel it through the appropriate store account.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution continue to apply after termination where appropriate.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for every educational purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Corporis and its owner, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
We are not responsible for decisions made in reliance on the Service as medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or professional advice.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms do not limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
17. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts mandatory consumer rights available under the laws of your country.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a mandatory consumer-protection rule, the mandatory rule will apply.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, store policies, or business practices.
The updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY—LIKELY ROMANIA], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence.

20. Apple-specific terms
If you downloaded Corporis through Apple’s App Store:
- these Terms are between you and Corporis, not Apple;
- Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the Service;
- Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the Service, except where required by law;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable provisions against you.
Your use of the application must also comply with the App Store Usage Rules.
